Price Increases Message sent to campus via the UFACC on January 7, 2022:
Procurement wanted to make campus aware that you may be seeing price increases from some of our Contract suppliers on certain commodity products and also increased shipping costs due to rising supply chain costs. Due to supply chain issues for certain materials (plastic, steel, etc), suppliers have been increasing prices with products manufactured with those materials. Contract price increases are limited by increases in the Producer Price Index, but unfortunately the PPI is currently up 9%. Procurement will be in continual contact with our suppliers to try and lessen the impact as much as possible.
